Puentes de Esperanza
The mission of Puentes de Esperanza is to enhance the quality of life of the Latino Community in Southern Illinois, through partnership in a community-based ministry directed at social, health, and spiritual needs.
The Puentes de Esperanza staff works with clients who need help with basic life needs that most of us take for granted every day, such as:
- Migrant and Seasonal Worker Head Start
- Food, utility and housing assistance referrals
- Translation and immigration issues assistance
- Referrals for legal assistance
- Employment preparation assistance
- Computer training and education assistance
- English As A Second Language classes
- Transportation assistance
- Medical referrals
- Individual and family counseling
- Teen pregnancy prevention services
