Serving Children and Families for 115 Years

The Runaway and Homeless Youth Project - Basic Center Program -Youth at-risk of running away or being forced from their homes are offered emergency shelter and assistance. Counseling and support services are then provided to the youth and their parents with the goal of resolving problems and reuniting the family. When reunification is successful, follow-up "aftercare" services are provided to ensure continued success.


The Safe Date Project - A collaboration in with the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois, this ministry seeks to prevent interpersonal and adolescent dating violence among at-risk and runaway/homeless youth in Clinton, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Madison Counties.

PROJECT SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS- A partnership with the U.S. Attorney’s office, assisting selecting communities with anti-gang and anti-drug campaigns.  


 

LIFE SKILLS - This program offers training for individuals who are transitioning from a shelter in Madison County to an independent lifestyle. Our staff provides counseling and continuing education to ensure success.
